Hungary will be hosting Kuwait in an international friendly match on 6th June. Hungary boasts of 33rd rank in FIFA world ranking when compared to Kuwait’s 113. Hungary is currently trailing Netherlands at second spot in the Group D of 2014 world cup qualifiers in Europe. Roland Varga, Balazs Megyeri, Gabor Gyomber, and Gero Lovrencsics are set for their International debut for Hungary. Veteran TSV 1860 Munchen keeper Kiraly has vast experience of playing in German and English leagues. Russia based Dzsudzsak, Koman are the major workforce in an inexperienced Hungarian midfield. Juhasz and Vanczak are the long serving main defenders of Hungary. They will be pushing for the first clean sheet in five matches for Hungary.
Kuwait made exit from the Asian world cup qualifiers in the 3rd round. They are currently focusing on 2015 Asia cup qualification. They are currently second in the Group B, behind leaders Iran. Nottingham forest’s goalkeeper Khalid Al-Rashidi and 1 FK Pribram’s Abdulaziz Al Misha’an are the two Europe based players of Kuwait. Abdulaziz is slowly taking over the mantle of Kuwaiti creativity from Veteran Waleed Ali. Kazma striker Youseff Nasser has been impressive with 24 goals in 41matches. AL Kuwai striker Abdulhadi Khamis is on a role with five goals in six matches. The likes of Al-Enezi and Fadel will face tough test against Hungarian attack in Kuwait defence.
Hungary has drawn their previous three matches. They will be looking at their inexperienced strike force to start scoring goals. Hungary with its top players from top European leagues will start as favorites to win against Kuwait. Kuwait has won three of its four previous matches. This is an opportunity for Kuwait to test themselves against a top European team before their vital Asia cup qualifiers later this year. Given the inexperience of Hungarian attackers, Kuwait might fancy a draw or a shock win.
